If babies could throw parties, they would undoubtedly throw a party in honor of Ellen DeGeneres’s new baby lifestyle brand, which launched on August 9th.
Inspired by her previously existing lifestyle brand, ED, DeGeneres explains that she accidentally shrunk some of her clothing while washing them, and realized that they would make great baby clothes, too. Why limit great style to the adults when everything looks so much cuter on a baby?
Her pre-existing lifestyle brand, ED, is her take on comfortable style that leans neither feminine or masculine. She drew inspiration from her own style and added much of her own personality into the mix. There simply wasn’t anything available like her personal style until she created her own brand. Similarly, there has been nothing like that for babies, until now.
In collaboration with Bed, Bath & Beyond’s Buybuy Baby, DeGeneres’s line includes a multitude of products, from cribs to swaddles to strollers. Each piece is made with high quality materials and is embossed with phrases like “Made With Love.”
It’s obvious that she created this brand with a lot of love in mind. DeGeneres is particularly excited about the swaddle because babies love being swaddled and held closely. She also loves the brand’s socks, which are so cute and tiny, how could anyone not love the baby socks? She has even joked that those socks made her want to have a baby of her own, though she doesn’t believe that’s quite enough of a reason to actually have one.
